Heathen Kings' second single 'A Song For Denethor' is out 27th June 2021.
Returning once more to Middle-earth, to the white city of Minas Tirith, Heathen Kings' latest release, 'A Song For Denethor' laments the last days of a once noble lord, whose will is broken.
Denethor, son of Ecthelion, is the last steward of Gondor and his mind is overthrown. In Gondor’s darkest hour he is doomed to succumb to madness.
What of his city? What of his house and sons? Are pride, jealousy and mistrust his only legacy? In his final despair, he has overlooked the seed of hope, the hope of Gondor... That there is yet strength in the world of men.
From the ashes of a shrouded history and into the eye of a new flame, he will burn, like the heathen kings of old.
